Administration Condemns 'Democratic Hoax' as More Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Disclosed

House Democrats have made public a new tranche of what they described as "troubling" photographs from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 photographs—some of which have been seen before—along with another 70 unveiled later on Friday account for a small number of the almost 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.

Prominent Personalities in the Images

Featured among the prominent personalities seen in the first release are public figures including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are obscured.

White House Statement

The White House reacted to the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the pictures for partisan aims and to "try and create a false narrative."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official remarked, maintaining that "the current government has done more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for transparency, making public reams of papers, and calling for further investigations into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Congressional Democrat Comment

The images were released lacking captions, but according to a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the investigative panel, they raise more questions about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.

"Now is the occasion to halt this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he declared in a comment.

The disclosure of these images coincides with the oversight committee pressing on with its inquiry into the Epstein case.
