These individuals are exulting in a mass killing that humanitarian officials believe killed more than thousands of individuals in the Sudan's urban center of al-Fashir in recent weeks.

A City Isolated from the Globe

Following their control of the urban area under siege for nearly an extended period, from the summer the militia proceeded to strengthen its position and prevent access for the leftover residents.
